The third English Talk Show of this term in the primary school was held in high spirits. The story of
this activity is the famous Chinese story “Wu Song Fights the Tiger” from “Water Margin”, a masterpiece
listed among China's Four Great Classical Novels" . This familiar story aroused great enthusiasm and
expectation among all of us.

故事讲解
Four students vividly told the story of "Wu Song Fights the Tiger" in fluent English.
On his way home to visit his elder brother, Wu Song passed through Jingyanggang.
At the inn at the foot of Jingyanggang, after drinking eighteen bowls of wine, Wu Song, ignoring the
innkeeper's warnings, insisted on going up the hill.
On the hill, when the effects of the wine began to take hold and Wu Song was lying on a large bluestone
to rest, suddenly a fierce tiger pounced on him.
Wu Song quickly dodged the tiger's first pounce and attacked it with a cudgel. However, the cudgel
broke. Then, Wu Song threw away the cudgel and fought the tiger barehanded, using his fists and kicks
to attack the tiger's head and abdomen.
After a fierce battle, Wu Song finally killed the tiger and rid the people of this scourge.
Wu Song's heroic deeds quickly spread far and wide, and his legend became a much-told tale among the
people.

武松在回家探望兄长路上，经过景阳冈。
在冈下的酒店，武松喝了十八碗酒后，不顾店家的警告，执意上冈。
在冈上，武松酒力发作，躺在大青石上休息时，突然被一只猛虎扑来。
武松迅速闪过老虎的第一次扑击，并用哨棒攻击，但哨棒断裂。随后，武松扔掉哨棒，赤手空拳与老虎搏斗，使用拳头和脚踢攻击老虎的头部和腹部。
经过激烈的搏斗，武松最终打死了老虎，为民除害。

In this scene, Wu Song entered the inn and drank heartily. He interacted with the waiter and the landlady
and drank eighteen bowls of wine in a row, demonstrating his bold and unrestrained character.

Wu Song, in a drunken state, staggered onto Jingyanggang and was attacked by a tiger. After a fierce battle
between the two, Wu Song finally killed the tiger with his bare hands.
武松醉走上景阳冈，遭遇老虎袭击，双方经过激烈搏斗后，武松最终赤手空拳打死老虎。
Scene3：Wusong becomes the hero。
场景 3：武松成为英雄
After Wu Song fought the tiger, the waiter and villagers rushed over. They were relieved to confirm his
safety and learned that the tiger had been defeated. They highly praised Wu Song as a hero and said they
would no longer be afraid of the tiger.
武松打虎后，店小二和村民赶到，确认他平安并得知老虎已被打败，盛赞他为英雄，还表示不再惧怕老虎。
Wusong is a great hero. His bravery, wisdom and responsibility appreciated us all. It told us that we can
overcome even the most daunting challenges.
武松是一位伟大的英雄。他的勇敢、智慧、责任感让我们深感钦佩。这个故事告诉我们，即使面对最艰巨
的挑战，我们也能够战胜它。
